Implementation Partnerships

Implementation of the Australian Cancer Plan is a shared responsibility requiring coordinated effort across the cancer control sector. The Plan highlights actions for the entire sector to work together to achieve the vision of world-class cancer outcomes and experience for all Australians.

COLLABORATION TO DELIVER ACTIONS IN THE PLAN

Cancer Australia welcomes the opportunity to partner with cancer control organisations to implement activities that support the Plan’s once in a generation reform agenda over the next decade.

We are establishing partnerships with stakeholders to create a platform for enhanced collaboration to drive change and to deliver on the Plan’s actions. Through this collaborative approach, partners are identifying activities that contribute to the Plan’s implementation.

These partnerships enable:

  • mutual recognition of each other’s implementation activities and collaboration on areas of mutual interest,
  • shared promotion and dissemination of information, and
  • mechanisms to monitor progress towards the Plan’s goals.
